LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

The Mission of Leadership Mercer

This program is designed to enhance the leadership skills of present and potential leaders to improve the overall health of our community.

The program is to enrich leadership skills while increasing the knowledge in various areas of concern in Mercer County such as Healthcare, Media, Education, The Judicial System, Local and State Government, Economic Development, Agriculture, and Community Life. Community leaders agree to share their knowledge in applicable fields of expertise.

Mercer Adult Leadership Program

Leadership Mercer is open to adults 18 and older interested bettering their skills and network and to those embarking on a new journey to be a be leader in their career and community. We are looking to most days being the 4th Thursdays of the month. 

How to Apply

  • Accepting applications January through October for the 2025 program
  • Cost: $575 with applications due by October 31st.  

Mercer Youth Leadership Program

Vision

To provide each student the advantage of getting to know their community better and awareness of leadership opportunities available to them.

Learning Objectives

Students learn leadership and problem-solving skills, meet leaders in their community, and have worthwhile discussions on how to make Mercer County an even better place to live, work and play.

  • State and Local Government Days
  • Business and Industry
  • Agriculture, Tourism and Economic Development
  • Higher Education and Technical training

How to Apply

  • Applications for this program will be distributed to the school system and thru social media campaigns.

  • This program is free. The only investments are your time and attention.

  • Participants will have the opportunity to earn scholarships that can be used for higher education. In addition, youth will also have the opportunity to earn cash prizes and more from their participation in this program.
